This week I received an article from Kiki that was published in Marie Claire. I wasn't sure if I found it incredibly interesting or actually just plain scary. It was about men who are just a bit better at doing a perfect makeup than the average woman standing in front of the mirror in the morning.
Now I do know some men who are masters in makeup. Wim Thompson, Benjamin Puckey; really not someone to be afraid of. They are the favorites on earth who can create the most beautiful look on your face. But these gentlemen, the gentlemen I am going to present below, show in tutorials how they would do the looks. By themselves. I don't know what to think of that. Quite scary, but also incredibly special. For example, I don't see my man pulling a smokey eye out of his sleeve. But hey, it does get you an incredible amount of Instagram followers. Maybe something to think about. You then have both a famous man and you step out of your bed perfectly made up every morning. And he does too.
Perfectly shaped eyebrows, huge fake eyelashes that make him a bit of the human version of Bambi; that's Alannized. His recognizable features are the shiny cheekbones. No shine, no look. With more than 200,000 followers, he inspires everyone to try the most glamorous looks. Heavily made-up eyes, colorful lips, and that shine all over the face.
I would love to go out for a day with Patrick. He radiates nothing but fun. He is currently one of the most influential makeup stars online with nearly two million followers on Instagram and YouTube. The stolen foundation from his mother and a bit of experimenting with makeup have turned out quite well.
Take a look at Manny's account and you'll immediately know that pink is his favorite color. He loves a colorful eye and a matching lip.
I think Alex has a really cool account. He seems like a huge rough guy with his Sauvage in one hand and a cigarette in the other, but his love for makeup is incredibly big. With 250,000 followers on Instagram and Jennifer Lopez as a regular client, I think that's quite a fun contrast.
His hair always looks amazing. On his Instagram account, we've really never caught him on a bad hair day. Just like those eyebrows. Always perfectly shaped and groomed. His followers could use a bit of a boost because for the most flawless skin, you have to go to him.
