Selfies, guys. I just can't. Not even with these tips. I get annoyed by everything about my face. Especially my lazy eye, yes really, I swear: I really have one. As soon as my left eye sees a camera, it gets shy. So I prefer to find an Instagram husband or wifey (hi Theo, hey Annick) and just do the ‘look away‘ or the hand/hair in my face. I've become quite the pro, if I may say so.

However, there has been a lot going on around selfies this past year, so I've lined up the most important ones for you.

The nudie selfie

Kimmie K, we still miss you on social, you know. Nude photos included. Although this one was still really a tad too much.

The frenemies selfie

Kanye's ex and Kanye's wifey, together in a selfie. Brilliant move, I must say, from the two ladies. The tabloids went nuts.

The eight-in-a-row selfie

This has been a hit online in recent years. Take Wimbledon, one row, eight men, and a camera. Then you get this as a result. Just like a row of dominoes falling one by one.

The animal selfie

The it-looks-like-your-pet-took-the-photo selfie. Knowing that you secretly did it yourself.

The space selfie

As space cowboy I am intensely jealous of this. I mean: how many people can say they have a selfie of themselves floating in space? Just saying.

The latest trend selfie

Bye bye duckface. This year it’s been all about the hand that you subtly hold by your mouth. Take Bella Hadid here as an example. Seductively looking into the camera, hand casually there and voilà: flame.

The most important selfie

Of course, the honor goes to our own May who managed to snag Gigi in Milan for a selfie. But those two are now of course beyond the selfie. Call them BFFs if you will. Here’s the proof.
