The Voice of Holland

THE NAKLETS

Guys. This was definitely the best battle so far. Admit it. Dilana. Yerry. Emma. Jacob Grey. I'm just naming a few. I was dancing on my couch. I kept my mouth shut because having ambitions is one thing, but a bit of voice is definitely a second requirement. Shall we? I have a lot to share, actually.

1. First of all. What would Madonna have thought of Jacob Grey's shirt?

I know. Extremely nineties Seattle. And, the top buttons can be undone, you know. That probably sings easier too.

2. Sucker for crying mothers

Do you guys have that too? Give me a crying mother and you get a crying mother. That's me.

3. That diving goggles on Dilana

Is that a theme? I mean: last time she had it on her head. Crooked, but still on her head. Now it served as a belt. I'm very curious where it will pop up next time (= lame pun. Cause: two, oh no three, glasses of wine.).

4. Quote of the evening

Ali B to Dilana: “I can imagine that when people see you they think: take it easy; take some Ritalin.”

5. Frank Masmeijer is still roaming around

That was Martijn's question after the blind auditions to his daughter Charlotte. But no four walls and shared showers for Frank, just a visit to Sugar City.

6. A little about the styling

At the risk of you thinking I'm a know-it-all fashion nerd (but I actually know a bit more about that than about music); I want to say something about patches on clothing. That's fun and it's in. But dear Emma, it's not like you put patches on both your pants and your jacket. You weren't that often falling, were you? And combining that with a lace top. Anyway. Do you care, you're comfortably in the steal room. With your patches.

7. A little more about Charlotte Masmeijer

I didn't write my friendliest phrase about her. Something with the level of a cover band at a wedding. I'm not taking anything back, but I have to say that she looked incredibly good and sexy last night there in Sugar City. What a sex appeal. J.Lo-like. And, if I ever get married, I'll ask you to come rock. Deal?
