THIS IS HOW YOUR HAIR STAYS BEST AFTER A BLOW-DRY

4 tips to always have the best hair

If I have a party or something fun on the agenda, I stop by my favorite at The Building. Within a quarter of an hour, my hair is in the perfect curl or an amazing braid that you can't help but admire. That's also the problem, because after a visit to them, I'm so incredibly happy that the next morning is always a huge disappointment. That. I. Always. Want. Well, that can also be done. You don't have to sit up straight for it, sleep, it can also be easier. And then you have and keep that ‘do’ just for two or three days. That's what you want, right?

1. Topknot

Is your hair beautifully blow-dried or have you finally got the perfect curl? Wonderful. It's a shame if they disappear the next day like snow in the sun. Twist your hair into a high bun. Not too tight and preferably secure it with pins. And then don't fold that bun double, but twist it around, is Rachel's tip. And don't secure it with a hair tie, because then you'll see a bump in it the next morning.

2. Braiding

Braids always tend to frizz a bit. That's not so bad, because it can all be a bit beachy these days. If you really want them to stay in place, then a pantyhose around your head is not a crazy idea at all. Just a thin denier (so your head and hair can still breathe) and cut off (so it doesn't pinch).

3. Salt spray

The secret: salt spray. You get a lot of hair from it and your hair really stays in shape the best. I think it's absolutely amazing. And if it’s even a little out of shape; a spray of salt, a little shake and done. You just get your style back. So ask the hairdresser to put a lot in beforehand and make sure you have it in your bag all day.

4. Cold blow-dry

Set the blow dryer a few settings colder and blow-dry your hair a little extra. The cold air closes the hair cuticles. This way, your hair really stays in place.
