WORKING OUT DURING THE MEETING

I know I know, we are all busy and then exercising is often the first thing that gets neglected. I really get it; after a workday you are just tired, you are hungry and you want to go home to eat (maybe exercise in the morning once in a while?). You can compensate a little bit by doing a bit of a workout during that incredibly boring meeting anyway. Look, it would be the coolest if you all sat in a circle on exercise bikes. Then you just pedal in place and can easily have a conversation with each other. But okay, that's too good to be true. I have some other little tricks to still work on your body without anyone (noticing too much).

Tighter than tight

Squeeze those buttocks nicely. And then relax. Tense up. And relax again. I hope for you that you don't move up and down too much.

Away with that chair

Take a (bouncy) ball instead of a chair, sit up straight on it and engage your abdominal muscles. This way you train your abdominal and back muscles well.

From left to right

Okay, it might be that your colleagues find you incredibly annoying, but turn your office chair from left to right and then engage your abdominal muscles. There you go, you're also working your oblique muscles.

Sneaky under the table

Sit straight on the floor and lift your feet a little off the ground. Here too: engage those abdominal muscles and they will be rock hard after a hundred meetings.

Employee of the week

Get coffee super often and do some squats while the coffee machine is brewing.
