ALL THE QUESTIONS I STILL HAVE AFTER BINGING STRANGER THINGS

Binge racing actually then, because I managed to watch all 9 episodes within 24 hours. Something with a very rough Saturday last weekend, which made Netflix my best friend. Just the tune of the intro: I love it. Oh by the way, if you haven't seen it yet, I would definitely click away (to this for example) because: spoilers incoming.

Anyway, after 9 very entertaining (and creepy) episodes, I have some questions that will keep me captivated for the coming year, because Netflix has indicated that a new season is not expected for about a year. Here they come:

  1. Nice that Eleven (yay, she still lives and we finally know what her real name is) has closed the gate to the Upside Down world, but the Shadow Monster is still alive, so it's guaranteed that it will come back – thanks to foreshadowing in the last few seconds of the last episode. But why Hawkins? Why is it so obsessed with the people there and how on earth is it going to come back? A lot of pressure, ST team, for season 3.
  2. What exactly is the function of Billy in this whole season? And why so much hate for Lucas?
  3. Will Dustin really talk like that? This has nothing to do with the season, but I just wonder. By the way, applause for the team behind the casting of this show. And now let's hope that all those kids don't end up with some sort of Lindsay Lohan-like future, because they are so good, I really wish them a lot of success in TV and film.
  4. How did Dart (the demodog) exactly come out of the Upside Down world and end up in Dustin's trash can? And did he save them in the tunnels or was he really so obsessed with the chocolate that he got distracted? Suppose he consciously saves them, does that mean there is still an ounce of goodness in the demodogs? That if you give the monsters a little bit of love, they can still turn good?
  5. It seemed like some sort of exorcism when the Shadow Monster came out of Will, but is he now forever and always free from his connection with the Upside Down? Or is he in trouble again next season?
  6. Is it even possible to destroy the Upside Down?
  7. Uhm, were there any more people who found the storyline with ‘the sister’ of Eleven (Jane then) a bit boring? #daretoask
  8. Did Lucas arrange that date with Nancy for that guy from the arcade?
  9. Nice that the whole story around Barb is now resolved (#JusticeForBarb), but secretly I'm also a bit disappointed that she will never come back.
  10. It takes place in the ’80s when people hardly had computers at home, so they probably didn't have stacks of paper either. But how does the Byers family have so much A4 paper that the whole house can be filled with Will's drawings of the tunnels?
  11. Who is aunt Becky actually talking to when Eleven (yes, I can now call her Jane, but Eleven still sounds more badass) is at her mother's house?
  12. Are Nancy and Jonathan actually a couple now? And what exactly have they been up to together? Did their hands stay above the covers or not?

Alright, Netflix is helping me work on my impatience, a year waiting for season 3. Amaiii…
