ALWAYS STRUGGLING TO PICK A MOVIE ON NETFLIX?

Here are a few good ones you might have forgotten about

Netflix, I love you. Really. I don’t know what I would do without you. But you are also incredibly annoying for someone indecisive like me with so much choice. It’s standard that when I’m hanging out on the couch with a friend and we decide to watch a movie, we’re over an hour in before we’ve made a choice (first world problems, I know). But to make it a bit easier for you, here are a few movies you might have forgotten how much you liked:

Meet Joe Black

Brad Pitt in his younger years with a hairstyle we forgive him for. He plays Joe Black (alias: death), who learns about life through Bill Parrish (played by actor Anthony Hopkins). And oh yes, he also falls in love with his daughter at the same time. Ooh, and the scene where he eats peanut butter for the first time… Melt.

Legends of the Fall

We’ll stay a little longer in the divine years of Mr. Pitt. I watched this last weekend with a friend. Typical case of: you’ve seen it before, but you completely forgot how it ends. Tip: tissues.

The Talented Mr. Ripley

A psychological thriller for those evenings when you’re looking for tension and excitement on your own couch. With something hot on the side – in the form of Jude Law.

Into the Wild

Do you have almost three hours to spare? That’s triple portions of popcorn.. Winning! Into The Wild, the story of a boy who gives all his savings to a charity and decides to hitchhike to Alaska to live in the wilderness there. Not only is this movie a favorite, but its soundtrack is brilliant.

‘I want the truth!’ ‘You can’t handle the truth!’ You still know that one, right? But secretly forgot which movie it came from. From this one.

Remember the Titans

A true story about an American football team set in the 70s. Perhaps you don’t care about American football, but you do care about Ryan Gosling and so you want to see this movie.

She’s All That

The story about the ugliest girl in school who is transformed by the hottest boy in school for a bet. Of course, there had to be a classic teen movie in this list. Perfect for easy watching.
