Parties along the Seine

Yippee, tomorrow at a quarter past seven this big kid is homebound again. Barely recovered from Lowlands, I'm already heading to the next festival in my former home base Paris. I was just talking about all those festivals in Europe that you want to go to at least once in your life? Well, I'm going to check one off my list. Rock en Seine Indeed, a festival with big names like The XX, Flume, and PJ Harvey, right next to the Seine, with the Eiffel Tower in sight, croissants for breakfast, hopefully some charming French men around (you can say what you want about the French, but I have an intensely big weakness for these boys) = my definition of paradise.

And luckily the weather forecast is just a bit more appealing than last weekend's at Lowlands. Bye raincoat, hello summer dresses. Coincidentally also to be found in Paris this weekend? Here a few tips on what to pack in your suitcase. And May, if I'm not found at the office on Monday, then I've met the love of my life at Rock en Seine and have emigrated to Paris. Adieu!

P.S.: And if you're just in Paris for fun, here the must-sees from the Amayzine editorial team.
