Forever ruined when it comes to marriages
Thanks to the heiress of Swarovski
Well, I've been dreaming since I was young to someday walk down the aisle in a ridiculously beautiful white dress and say ‘I do’ to Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Unfortunately, I've had to make some adjustments to that dream, because it turns out Mr. is already married (CRYING), but it's okay, I think Chris Pine is still single. I think that's totally fine. It never had to be over the top for me but holy mother of dragons (ha, Game of Thrones fans – that was for you), I am now forever ruined after seeing the wedding of the 23-year-old heiress of Swarovski. A dress worth one million dollars (!!!). And you thought that this was all insane for a wedding? Want to know all the ins and outs?
All wedding facts in a row:
– Portopiccolo, Italy, was the destination for the three-day celebration.
– And if you think that only the bride, Victoria Swarovski, has a wealthy background, hubby Werner Mürz is an entrepreneur from Munich with quite a bit of money in his own bank account.
– Her dress, of course covered in Swarovski crystals (500,000!!!), was designed by designer Michael Cinco, who also counts artists like Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé, and Rihanna as clients.
– On evening number one, there was a red-white themed party called ‘Pasta and Love’ held at the five-star hotel Falisia. The men had to wear white and the ladies in red. Here too, Victoria wore a dress designed by the same Michael Cinco.
– The wedding ceremony took place in the cathedral of San Giusto in Trieste, with over 250 guests including our own Sylvie Meis.
– Let's talk again about that dress with those 500,000 Swarovski crystals. It weighed a total of 46 kilograms (holy shit, what a workout) and had a price tag of more than one million dollars.
– And for all the shoe lovers, if you want to know what footwear the bride wore; they were white heels from Jimmy Choo.
– For dinner, all 250 guests plus the bridal couple returned to Portopiccolo, where the little trees that served as centerpieces on all tables were filled with, yes, you guessed right: Swarovski crystals.
– And with so many guests, of course, you go for a five-tier wedding cake.
– Day number three was celebrated with a brunch at the Beach Club of Portopiccolo, because what could be better than recovering on a bed in the sun? Just saying.
Alright alright alright, what are my chances of winning the lottery actually?
