My Monday mornings alone in the editorial office are sacred to me. I always start just a little earlier than the rest (for such a Trending Topic you just have to set your alarm a bit earlier) and so I start my day every morning in my own way at the editorial office. Own playlist on, cup of coffee next to me and I am at my most productive. And while many dread Monday, for me it is still the favorite day of the week because: start of the week = a new Discover Weekly on Spotify and this music buff becomes intensely happy when she discovers new artists. I must honestly admit that Spotify has let me down a bit in the past few weeks. Until now, because there is just a new feature that allows you to demonstrate even better what you do and do not like.
Two new buttons in the bottom left: a heart and a circle with a line through it. The Spotify version of the like/dislike button from Facebook, so to speak, which adjusts your algorithm and pays even better attention to what exactly your musical taste is (even though it is broad). So bye bye bad music.
And if you are still looking for a nice work playlist or just one for on the go: find me on Spotify and follow my Wherever, Whenever playlist. I promise you’ll like it.
