Never cold coffee again
There are very few things in life that give me the creeps. That way you know I would rather step into a bath with cockroaches than three vials of blood draw and also I gladly avoid the dentist's chair. But what I really can't stand is cold coffee. And I go far in that. My ritual before I actually take that first sip: take a double-walled glass, warm the cup with boiling water, let it warm for two minutes, let the coffee flow, and finally drink the coffee within five minutes.
My Monday just became a lot more pleasant. What am I saying? My life just became a lot more bearable. With the arrival of the invention of 2017: The Ember Mug.
This new invention is a mug that keeps your drink warm via sensors and an app. The cup contains four sensors that can measure the temperature of your drink. They communicate to the microprocessor in the bottom of the mug whether the temperature is correct or if the heating element needs to raise the temperature a bit more. To warm the cup, you need to place it on a corresponding saucer. Once the cup is warm, it keeps your drink at the desired temperature for up to eight hours. But that's not all, my friend. You control the supersonic mug right from your warm bed or from the couch. The mug is connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth, allowing you to set the temperature for your fresh cup of coffee directly from your phone. Is your cup empty? The cup automatically goes into sleep mode until the sensor feels movement again.
You have to dig deep into your pockets and be willing to spend a bit, but for 70 dollars you will have never cold coffee again. A dream.
