No more excuses not to go exercise
I have news, good news for all the people (colleagues, are you reading along?) who prefer to be lazy than tired. So all the people who find walking one hundred and fifty meters already sports and would rather take a taxi than have to sit on the bike for ten minutes. News for all the people who have been looking for the ultimate excuse not to have to exercise: from now on you no longer have to search for the best excuse, because what you have is simply a sports allergy, or very interestingly put: exercise-induced anaphylaxis. Sounds serious, right?
And it is. Because people with this allergy can experience itching, hives, and nausea after intense exertion. It can even be so severe that they ultimately suffer from hyperventilation and can eventually pass out. The harder you exert yourself, the worse the reaction becomes. The symptoms are caused by the body temperature rising during exertion.
Unfortunately, I have made you happy with a dead bird. The chance that you actually suffer from this condition is minuscule. It is a very rare disease. In fact: allergist Dr. Hans de Groot encountered only 15 to 20 such cases in his entire career. So girlfriend, you better just book your class for tonight, because before you know it, we have to be in bikinis again. Come on, come on.
