Really Botanical

It's Monday and I'm in the Veluwe. In the Ve-lu-we, what are you doing there? Well, there's an estate nestled among the trees. Fun fact: the estate where Renate Verbaan (draped in Claes Iversen) became a Gerschtanowitz. I'm typing from a coach house, on the table lies a key with a copper pendant and all of this is taking place on my own terrace. Not your usual Monday, but extremely easy to get used to. L’Oréal Botanicals is the instigator of this stay and they enlisted the most delightful Danie Bles to make everything even more botanical than estate Het Roode Koper already is.

That is primarily due to the lunch. At this estate, a star chef wields the spatula and you could see that reflected on the plate. A trick of geranium leaves, a foam of the foam of the foam of coriander, that kind of art. I could kiss the chef, it was that delicious. A nice detail was that they cooked with the ingredients from the Botanicals line. Call me a botanical layman, but if you can eat it, then it must also be great for your hair. Did you know that this product is eighty percent made from nature's input? No wonder it smells good (I seriously spent the whole afternoon sniffing the coriander-based shampoo bottle).

To further experience the benefits of the product, we received a treatment. A head massage that I hoped would never stop a thousand times (with the Safflower, such a good scent), just the right curl in the hairstyle, a quick photo and then sitting down to yet another star meal. I also got to stay under a duvet, so soft that I wanted to steal it. Estate Het Roode Koper and L’Oréal, when can I come back? Until then, I was styling my locks with Botanicals, because I believe I can't live without it anymore.
