Cattrall lashes out at Sarah Jessica Parker

They may be best friends in the series, but the past few days have been nothing but noise at the house of Sex and the City. Especially between Kim and Sarah Jessica. Ready, steady? Fight!

Sarah Jessica expressed her disappointment last week that the third SATC movie is off the table. “We would have loved to tell this beautiful, funny, heartbreaking, joyful story. It’s not just a shame that this can’t happen now, it’s even more disappointing for the audience that was so eager for another movie, which they won’t get now,” she said in an interview with Extra.

Before long, the web was filled with reports that Kim Cattrall was responsible for the plans falling through due to her excessive demands. It was quiet for a while, but last night it was time for a response (read: jab) from Team Cattrall in an interview on British television: “It’s remarkable to suddenly see all these reports that I’m demanding, or a diva over something I’ve been saying no to for almost a year,” said Kim. “And that’s what I hold against the people of Sex and the City and Sarah Jessica Parker in particular. I think she should have been a bit kinder about this.”

Now May had already figured out that Kimmie follows none of her SATC colleagues on Instagram (still striking, right?), the rumors that she’s not really on the same page as Sarah Jessica Parker are further emphasized. “She could have been much nicer. I don’t know what her problem is. I’ve never known.”
