If you are reading this piece while enjoying a cup of coffee, I am lying with my bare bottom by a pool in beautiful Rome. Something about the best press trip of the year with even more fun people. 32 degrees, clear blue sky, a light breeze; yes, this Italian spring suits me much better than the Dutch one. Elke got ahead of me; she shared her summer favourites with you. Today it’s my turn. These five summer favorites naturally went into the suitcase. I can't get through the summer without these products.

1. Rem St. Barth

For about ten years now, there has been one scent that I keep purchasing. The scent ‘Rem’ from Reminiscence is a reminder of your favorite holiday in the sun, where the scents of the sea and flowers blend together. On the rainiest day in the Netherlands, this fragrance still gives you a holiday feeling. Love it.

2. Collistar Supertanning Moisturizing Dry Oil

My absolute favorite to protect my already tanned skin; this ‘dry’ oil for a quick tan. The Collistar Dry Oil has all the benefits of a tanning oil (read: quick tanning), but none of the downsides (greasy and sticky). It forms a water-resistant layer on the body and smells wonderful.

3. Christophe Robin – Antioxidant Cleansing Milk

This shampoo with four different oils, rice proteins, and antioxidants is the perfect nourishment for your hair after a day at the beach. Especially for people with dry (highlighted) hair, this shampoo is a must-have in the summer. After a refreshing wash, your hair looks healthy and shiny again. A party in the shower.

4. Kenzoki – Skin Topcoat SPF 30

Before you dive into the sun, a good day cream with SPF is a must-do. This protective day cream not only protects your skin from the sun, thanks to the shea butter in this cream, it helps you combat the harmful effects of exhaust fumes and other dirt from outside.

5. Urban Decay – Beached Bronzer

In the summer, I prefer to wear as little makeup as possible, and a good bronzer is essential. This bronzer is perfect for a summer day to accentuate your sunkissed glow just a bit more or to fluff up your pale face. Just because of the lovely palm tree packaging, you want this box in your makeup bag.
