‘The youngest billionaire in the world’ just lived in Amsterdam

She just lived for a year in a student house in Mokum but with a bank account with nine zeros. And she is only 22 years old.

The youngest billionaire in Amsterdam is named Katharina Andresen. Together with her sister, she is the richest and youngest billionaire walking around on this planet. Her sister Alexandra is only 20 years old, but did not live in Amsterdam. Whaaat? We hear you thinking. Only 22 years old. Or 20 years old. And already so rich being? HOW. THEN?

The Norwegian blonde studied Social Science at Amsterdam University College last year and therefore just lived in Watergraafsmeer, at the Science Park. For this study, she was required to live on campus. She did miss her glamorous life, but yes, she gladly sacrificed it for that crazy student time in Amsterdam.

Katharina has an estimated fortune of around 1.2 billion euros. Un-be-liev-able. It is indeed a case of ‘daddy, thank you’. Because her wealth comes from her father Johan giving his daughters control over his company Ferd Holdings, which is quite valuable. It is an investment company – maybe a bit boring, but oh well. If it pays for your caviar on your sandwich… The family has been among the richest families in Norway for years.

According to the latest rumors, Katharina has stopped her studies in Dammie. So whether you will still encounter her on the Dutch streets is still a question. A fun fact: the young lady has almost as much wealth as American president Donald Trump. He is said to own about 3.7 billion, so Katharina has roughly a third in her bank account. Well, that’s pretty close. And yes, studying is indeed nice.
