WASH PROGRAM FOR YOUR HAIR

On my head is a fairly healthy mane of hair. It certainly doesn't happen by itself, even though I am a blessed person with an easy hairstyle. But due to the healthy hair state, I am terrified to color it (I can't say dye according to May), I get nervous when the hair artist picks up scissors and I am a collector of shampoos. When the bottom of the bottle is in sight, I dive into something new and genius in the shampoo aisle. Washing your hair is the foundation of those beautiful locks, and with this little program, your hairstyle is #onfleek.

First of all, don't wash your hair too often

Do you lather it up nicely in the morning in the shower? Then try to wash your hair a little less, because the more often you wash it, the greasier it becomes. Huh? Yes, really. Your scalp gets out of balance and produces more sebum if you reach for the shampoo every day, resulting in greasy locks. Every three days is a nice goal. By the way, gradually reduce this, because no one wants to walk around with a hairstyle that looks like a mess.

Secondly

Ready, set, go? Then massage the shampoo close to the scalp into your hair. If you take the whole bunch, those locks become heavy and droop. When you rinse out the shampoo, you automatically take the dirt from the rest of your hair with it. And with the conditioner, it's exactly the opposite; you apply it to the lower part of the hair. By the way, do you think you don't need conditioner because you go through life tangle-free? That's not true. A conditioner protects your hair, keeping it healthy.

Number three

Rinsing and patting is the motto. Take your time to rinse your hair well after washing. Your hair will also become greasy again if there is shampoo or conditioner left behind. Because your hair cuticles open up while washing, all those good ingredients have already been absorbed. Ready? Pat your hair dry. Rubbing it vigorously with that towel is disastrous for a beautiful mane.

And last but not least

Go for a shampoo with nourishing ingredients. Bad shampoos dry out your hair and do not nourish it. I am team foam, but that doesn't really mean anything. At your hairdresser, the shampoo doesn't foam like it does at home, right? The Volume Shampoo from Moroccanoil gives you twice as much hair (at least, that's how it feels). And the Rosemary Mint Conditioner from Aveda prevents static scenes, how handy. Oh, by the way, don't forget your weekly hair mask? So important to keep those locks in top condition.
