What is the biggest lie you have ever told?

A little white lie for the best intentions, we all participate in that. In fact, we all do it at least twice a day. In Adeline's case, it's standard that it was very busy on the road and Simone supposedly always takes it very easy at the gym. Bought something new over the weekend? No way, she's had it hanging in the closet for months when her boyfriend says something about it. Telling big lies, well, that's just a level higher and I can't really remember a huge lie I've ever told. And even if I did, I certainly wouldn't bring it up here.

BBC is currently on a roll when it comes to hit series. Think of a Tin Star, but also of a Doctor Foster. Once again, they come up with some television gold that you'll enjoy, with indeed the main theme: lying. And with the brilliant Joanne Froggatt, whom you might know a bit better as Anna Smith in Downton Abbey. I don't know what it is, but the Brits have a talent for creating thrillers.

Anyway, the story goes like this: a beautiful teacher meets a nice doctor, the father of one of her students at school, and goes on a date with him. But that one date changes their lives forever. What happens? Ha, I'm not going to spoil that, but let's just say: there are two sides to every story. Which of the two is right about what exactly happened during that one date night? A combination of contemporary gender politics combined with a gripping, emotional thriller.
