Who are you baking Nutella cookies with?

The magical moment of a fresh jar with a golden layer, every time a battle over who gets the honor of dipping their knife (or even better: your finger) into that pristine jar first. We were all too happy when an XXL family jar was delivered to the editorial office. This time not to spread on our rice cake or cracker, but for something much more fun. The gingerbread jar is empty and the last crumbs of speculaas have been devoured.

Elkeholic blasts the first Christmas hits from its speakers and the candles are lit.

And what fits better with the Christmas feeling than diving into the kitchen together to bake cookies? Weighing, kneading, baking, and of course the finishing touch with a spread Nutella. Not in the mood for an exploded kitchen, but do you want to bake together? Nutella opens its first temporary location on December 20 where special Nutella Christmas cookies can be baked. And in the special Nutella Christmas Bakery in Amsterdam. The bakery is open until December 28, except for Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Here so you should take a quick look.

Who will you open that fresh jar with? And buy a big one right away, because you get a free stamp for the cookies with it. You want it.

Nutella Christmas cookie sandwich

140 grams of powdered sugar

260 grams of soft butter

2 egg yolks

440 grams

210 grams of Nutella

  1. Mix all the ingredients (except of course the Nutella, that's for between the cookies) until the dough becomes a whole.
  2. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  3. Roll out the dough on a sheet of baking paper to a thickness of about 4 millimeters.
  4. Cut out cookies using a round cookie cutter of 7 centimeters.
  5. Dust the stamp with flour and remove the excess flour.
  6. Then press on the cookie stamps to make prints on your cookies.
  7. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  8. Place the cookies on a tray lined with baking paper and bake them until golden brown for 12-15 minutes.
  9. Remove them from the oven and let the cookies cool completely.
  10. Spread about 5 grams of Nutella on the cookies and cover with another cookie.
