With more men
Okay, I want to talk to you about a new study that I had no idea about. Do you remember when everything used to be so long and happy? Well, there's something new again. Apparently, it's a thing among millennials to have or date multiple men (or women, whatever your preference is) at the same time. I completely missed that. The last time I checked, this was called cheating (this effect cheating has on your next relationship).
Here I want to know the details, so I'm figuring out how it works. Because apparently, there's no such thing as cheating, right? First, you need to check if you fall into the M-category, you are millennial if you were born somewhere between 1980 and 2000. Look, that's me. And yet I didn't see this trend coming at all. It's called polyamory. I had heard of it, but I hadn't really thought about it or practiced it (I also don't think it's appreciated, by the way). It simply means that you have a relationship with multiple people. And they know about each other and are fine with it. Very efficient and clear all around. Dating site OkCupid discovered that there is more interest in this type of relationship. Okay, 42 percent still wants to be left alone by a third wheel in a relationship, but still. It's more than before. It's due to the freer spirit that millennials seem to have.
Let's call it a refreshing trend in love land, which also has some complicated situations in it. At the editorial office, it's not fully understood and picked up yet. But well, now you know. If you're ready for some variety: dating more men (or women) is cool. Just make sure to discuss it beforehand, otherwise, you'll get into trouble. Oh, and by the way... Millennials also seem to feel less than a hundred percent heterosexual when it comes to spreading your chances.
