11 terrifying sounds that make every person shiver
My mother has a weird little breathing thing. Hereby a word. It sounds like a combination of gasping for breath and being startled. When she does ‘it’, I'm on the edge of my seat. Almost bleeding ears, it's that serious. And suddenly there was a topic: daily sounds that make you shiver. And there are quite a few, I can tell you. Here are the worst in a row.
1. First Monday of the month at 12 o'clock
WOOOOEEEEEEIIIIIIEUWWWW, WOOOEEEEEIIEEEEUWWWWW. CLOSE THE WINDOWS AND DOORS, DUCK DOWN! Am I the only one who spontaneously thinks that the apocalypse has really broken out, the aliens are coming to get us, and we are all massively in trouble? Brrr.
2. The drill
That friend always comes on Saturday mornings and you know it: the sound of that bastard goes through marrow and bone.
3. Cracking of body parts
Neck, fingers, hips, cracking knuckles; it doesn't matter. It's the worst sound ever.
4. The notification tones of WhatsApp when your phone is on loud
Turns out mothers are particularly good at this (sorry mom, love you but there you go again). And then casually sitting next to you texting for ten minutes. Come on moms, just put that thing on silent.
5. Smacking. From someone else. Especially on the train
