7 facts and rumors about Dynasty season 2

Dynasty season 2 is undoubtedly an overload of Gucci and Balenciaga à la Fallon, a hefty dose of sneaky business from her father Blake, his Cristal Flores (who turns out not to be Cristal Flores?), Fallon's brother Steven who was left behind in the burning house with ex-lover Michael, and of course Sammy Jo, mother Alexis and her lover who pretends to be Blake's lost son to complicate things even further.

And today it has finally arrived: the first episode ‘Twenty-Three Skidoo’ is available on Netflix, which means the first answers to our questions are on the way. From the real CC to Fallon's love life; this is everything you need to know to kick off Dynasty season 2 tonight:

1. CC is no more

Actress Nathalie Kelley, who plays the role of Cristal Carrington, announces via an Instagram post that she will no longer be seen in the second season of Dynasty. ‘CC is no more… But family is forever <3’ she writes under her family portrait with Fallon and Steven by her side.

2. Or is she?

Ana Brenda Contreras is ‘the real CC’, so they are actually suggesting that the Cristal played by Nathalie Kelley has been deceiving everyone.

3. Steven is alive

James Mackay, aka Steven Carrington, will definitely be seen in the new season. He posts on Twitter ‘Filming Dynasty season 2’, which means our friend has survived the fire.

4. Alexis stays

Nicollette Sheridan aka Alexis Carrington has officially been added to the regular cast, and will now be seen all the way through Dynasty season 2. Whether we like it or not. Grr.

5. More trouble in paradise

Kirby (you know, Anders' daughter) becomes friends with the Colbys. And it's not just for fun; they are taking revenge on Fallon.

6. Funny

Michael also survives the fire. He tweets just like Steven that he is filming for Dynasty season 2. ‘Unless I’m a ghost,’ says Michael, but we obviously don’t believe that.

7. Love for Liam

Fallon loves Liam. Although that seems to be a bit of an issue with his unfriendly family, who also have a stake in Carrington Atlantic.
