Cheating is not allowed: Farmer Seeks Woman starts with disqualification

Three million people watched last night the first episode of the tenth season of Farmer Seeks Woman. The program is still bizarrely popular.

But what we saw now has not happened often. A farmer was disqualified. How so? Well, Remco, one of the ten selected farmers of this season, turned out to have cheated quite a bit. He allegedly tampered with the letters that potential partners sent to him.

Because what has this casanova done? He secretly had ‘intimate contact’ with a number of these women before the program started. That is not allowed according to the rules, because it is a bit unfair to the other women who are still signing up. Shame on him. And so Remco is already out: he is no longer being followed for the program. The makers of the program state: ‘The farmers must trust us in how we make the program and we must be able to trust the farmers. Because Remco already had contact with several ladies, who did not know about each other, and also asked them to write to the program, he has acted unfairly in our opinion.’

Remco already has quite a bit of regret. ‘I should never have done this in this way. I should have been honest with the women and with Farmer Seeks Woman. But it has happened. I really regret it.’ Well. Regret unfortunately always comes too late... But it will be an intense season if we experience this already in the kickoff. Which of the other farmers will do something naughty? We are looking forward to it. And: when will there finally be a Farmer Seeks Farmer? Fun, for a change.
