The Affair, the aftertalk
Do what you love and you won't have to work a day in your life, are the wise words of Mahatma Gandhi. You can also copy what you love into your work field and that's why I'm writing about The Affair and suddenly binge-watching the series becomes useful. Because work.
Yesterday I shared my thoughts that came up while watching season 3 and I want to elaborate on that, because new insights and findings emerged. Do you share your idea on Facebook? Let's have a cozy digital chat.
1. That bag!
Alison just has a Jérôme Dreyfuss bag. How cool is that? Anyway, it's a great look she wears when they secretly go to Block Island.
2. Now I know
Noah is obviously taking way too strong pills. Muscle relaxants. So he's also halfway in the middle there. That's why he keeps drifting off during the kissing sessions with Juliette. Or does he just find her dresses really boring?
3. Did I miss that
Noah keeps saying that Alison is technically still his wife. Did I miss their wedding or was I dozing off (that tends to happen after taking in four episodes)? Or will we get that served in a flashback?
4. Oh poor Helen
That her silly mother is back with that jerk of a father.
5. And poor Vik
Why is she being so bizarrely unkind to him? And then Martin finishes it off. Vik, I would say: go out indeed and if I were you, I wouldn't come back.
Tomorrow again? More tomorrow.
