Good news: season 2 of Elite is in the works
Every free minute I binged it, Gossip Girl. The troubles of intensely spoiled Manhattan were my ultimate guilty pleasure. So when it ended, I was just a bit down. But suddenly there was Elite.
The world of Elite brushes against the Gossip Girl vibe, but then in rapid Spanish AND it's all just a bit rougher and less polished. After season number one, we were completely thrown off, because the murder and Marina and how then? Netflix was flooded with sequel requests. And the cast of Elite and our favorite streamer responded: of course there will be a season two.
Season two consists, just like one, of eight episodes. The cast is therefore busy filming in the coming months. In 2019, Netflix brings Elite back on the air. To be continued, that nice, fresh guilty pleasure. That makes the end of Orange Is The New Black just a little less sad.
