Big Little Lies season 2 is on the way
Monterey lovers, pay attention. Season 2 of Big Little Lies is on the way and we have already gathered the first juicy details for you. Can you remember the end of season 1? Yesss, Meryl Streep is definitely part of season 2 of Big Little Lies. She plays the role of Perry's mother, Marie Louise, who according to Deadline ‘concerned for the well-being of her grandchildren following her son Perry’s death, Mary Louise arrives in Monterey searching for answers.’.

EW Reports reveals that the death especially triggers a switch in Celeste. ‘Reeling from her husband Perry’s death, Celeste is adrift, but determined to fight for her family and find the woman she once was.’

Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon will definitely return in season 2. And not just in the series as Celeste and Madeline, but also behind the scenes. How cool is that? Both ladies are also part of it as executive producers. Furthermore, both Laura Dern (Renata Klein) and Shailene Woodley (Jane Chapman) will return.

Perry, played by Alexander Skarsgård, revealed on the red carpet of the Golden Globes: ‘I don’t even know if I’m really dead or not. I feel okay right now but we’ll see.’ Hint hint....
