Sylvie Meis sues Sabia Boulahrouz after statements about her illness
Something very sad is happening in the land of the famous. We feel a bit ‘bleh’ when we read something like this. And we only think: poor Sylvie.
Well, actually we find the other two even sadder. What happened? Two women who were once good friends of Sylvie Meis, Sabia Boulahrouz and Touriya Haoud, claim that she completely made up her illness from years ago. They say she never had breast cancer in 2009. That she did everything to get more attention. To become more famous. That her short haircut and saying that her breast was removed was all for show. This is really shocking, isn't it? How can someone say something like that? Sabia said that ‘some people even go so far as to invent an illness to benefit from it.’ Touriya said: ‘Everything she does is calculated. You can buy anything with money. It's disgusting.’
The limit is now reached for Sylvie. She is suing instigator Sabia and follower Touriya. She has already distributed documents in which doctors confirm that she really has breast cancer. How did it come to this? This is unbelievable, even for the world of celebrities. Sylvie responds with these words: ‘The claim that the illness never existed is as untrue as it is tasteless. This is inhumane. Even my son Damián (12) was quite upset when he heard this.’
We can very well imagine that. We hope that this blows over soon and that everyone just leaves the successful presenter alone. And that those women will focus on something else. Perhaps on their own careers, instead of filling gossip magazines with very low nonsense.
Leco is already standing up for his friend Sylvie:
