A fifth season of Vis a Vis for the fans

Eight more episodes with Maca and Zulema, this time not behind bars but on the loose. It initially seemed there would be a spin-off of Vis a Vis under the name El Oasis, but it turns out to simply be season number five. Vis a Vis: El Oasis then, and it is scheduled for FOX Spain in 2020, but it remains to be seen if the season will come to Netflix.

Optimistic as I am, I think it will. Netflix would be crazy not to, and otherwise, I will personally find out how we can receive FOX Spain in the Netherlands for you. You have my word, and that means a lot in the Vis a Vis world. The season is about Macarena Ferreiro and Zulema Zahir who are on the loose, and the creator wants to show how the two wild animals (as he calls them) behave without bars. We already got a small preview in escape number one, so I’m betting on being cool-headed and a bit criminal, but of course, you never know, although Maca seems to have hardened by now due to prison and Zulema was never really a sweetheart. The story takes place fifteen years after Cruz del Sur and Cruz del Norte and is a tribute from the creators to the fans of the series. Thank you for that, because I really couldn't do without the Spanish chatter of Maca and Zulu yet. The date will follow, the place probably too, keep you posted.
