André Hazes makes a big statement on Instagram

It has kept the minds of gossiping Holland quite busy lately, that relationship between Monique and André Hazes. Together or not together? Do they live apart or still living together? Is he cheating or not? I think people often overlook the fact that a relationship is usually between two people, not between the whole of the Netherlands and two people just because one half is a BN. Then again, risk of the trade, I think a bit too. And if you are then spotted kissing Nikkie Plessen, the gate is of course completely full.

Only this is not true, according to André himself, who posted on Instagram. Last week, he revealed that it was indeed not quite cake and egg at home, and that they are not currently living together. He said this on Beau's new talk show, which, by the way, I thought was a nice and sincere interview. Too bad the only attention then goes back to that statement. Anyway, I find André a really likeable guy, so I totally understand if a Nikkie wants an evening with him sagging in the pub. Seems hearty and should just be possible of course, except that he drinks many a man out of it easily, I believe. Quite a pub tiger anyway. I'll be under the table after half an hour, I guess.

Anyway, so Dré is completely done with it for a while. Understandable, if I read the headlines in the tabloids. He conveniently added them to the headlines - it's handy, because I don't read them myself. He is linked to self-proclaimed method actor Imanuelle Grives, of course to Nikkie Plessen, one Jamie Been (daughter of former Feyenoord player Mario Been) and one Romy. And so none of that is true. Dré also briefly makes it clear that he doesn't even know Jamie and Romy (neither do we), and that all these front-page gossips are not exactly fun for Monique to read continuously. No, I can imagine that too.

Well, the Privé obviously also just has to sell its circulation, but I can well imagine that André no longer feels like it. In this case, I am also totally #TeamDré (and definitely #TeamMonique) and hopefully that handsome couple will come out happy, with or without each other. And also I just hope to see their André Junior a lot more on the Gram, because honestly, he's too cute (and funny) for words, isn't he?
