Anna Nooshin receives criticism and we think something of it

‘Anna Nooshin accused of cosmetic procedure’, headlined the front page of RTLnews this morning. I thought only three things: what the fuck, what the fuck and not to forget… what the fuck. Forgive my coarse language.
A week, what am I saying, five days after we celebrated that everyone can be themselves and you can do what you want, Anna is accused. What really bothers me is that word: accused. Let me quickly explain what’s going on. Anna posted a photo on her Instagram yesterday. It’s clear that she is on set, as the subtitle reads ‘set life’. It’s clear that she is made up, as the tag headlines ‘Gwen van Waveren’, her regular makeup artist. It’s clear that the world has gone mad, as the comments are overflowing with criticism about her lips. Critics think they see that she has ‘done’ her lips.
Not fun of course, all that nonsense in your timeline, but with online visibility you run the risk of criticism. You know it, Anna knows it, I know it. Where we really go off track is that the news (!) picks this up. It’s just above something about the lawyers of Holleeder and below the discussion about the pregnancy of Tempations Channah. We know it’s silly season, but come on. A trained eye actually sees that this is about lip liner, but I don’t even want to write that. Because: the last time we checked, it is allowed to do with your body what you want.
Whether a cosmetic procedure, not a cosmetic procedure, thinking about a cosmetic procedure, not wanting to think about a cosmetic procedure, it’s all legal. But let’s please leave that slander aside and especially not pick it up in the national news. Amen.
PS: Blood beautiful, if you ask us.
