Creepy: there was a break-in at Buckingham Palace last night

Sounds like the plot of some movie, when you read it like this, right? Yesterday I wrote that poor Queen Elizabeth has been enduring a lot with all the commotion surrounding Meghan Markle (who just won't stick to the royal rules), now I think she might have had quite a heart attack today as well. A 22-year-old man had come up with the bizarre plan to break into Buckingham Palace.

Even more bizarre is that this man actually succeeded in getting inside. That means he climbed over that gigantic fence – without being noticed – and somehow also managed to get into the building itself. Hello, Buckingham Palace? Is anyone home? I think that security there really needs to be tightened up. Although I’m afraid there will be some firings today…

This 22-year-old man wandered around Buckingham Palace for a few minutes (made tea for himself? Or do I just see that all Brits do that first?), presumably on his way to the Queen's bedroom. Luckily, that was locked, apparently unlike all the other doors around it. The police responded and according to The Sun, it took them exactly four minutes to check if the man was armed. According to the latest rumors, he was not.

By the way, this is not the only time there has been a break-in at Buckingham Palace. 37 years ago, Michael Fagan did it too, and back then the Queen Elizabeth's bedroom was not locked. So that creepy guy was just standing next to her bed. Terrifying. Apparently, you are not completely safe even in Buckingham Palace. And is it very bad that I would have much preferred if they had, for example, scared a Trump? Just leave that poor 93-year-old queen alone.
