Oh yes: all Gossip Girl actors have been approached for the revival

Gradually, more and more details are trickling in about Gossip Girl two poento noello. We already know that the reboot will be launched on HBO's new streaming service (Netflix is getting competition), it will consist of ten episodes, and that ‘The Next Generation’ will follow Upper East Siders. Eight years after the original Gossip Girl website went dark, a new generation of New York private school kids has emerged who have to deal with the watchful eye of social media channels and with Gossip Girl who is always ready to strike mercilessly.
All very nice of course, but uh, wait a minute. No Blair? No Serena? The cast members have been kept quite mysterious until now, but Josh Schwartz (one of the producers) really opened up this weekend at the Television Critics Association and stated that he and his team have approached all Gossip Girl actors for the upcoming revival. “We’ve reached out to all of them to let them know it was happening and we’d love for them to be involved if they want to be involved, but certainly didn’t want to make it contingent upon [them being involved]. They played these characters for six years, and if they felt like they were good with that, we want to respect that, but obviously… it would be great to see them again.”
Say uh, I don’t know if you think what I think, but the chance that at least someone bites on this brilliant proposal seems likely to me. Please, let it be Blair & Chuck. OR AT LEAST DOROTHA.
P.S..Actor Chace Crawford (you know, Nate, now 34, still handsome) has already said he is up for a comeback as Nate Archibald to be seen, oh la la.
