The 9 times you laughed out loud at The Office

If you feel something like this when reading the title of ‘huh, who?’, then go watch The Office really quickly. And make sure it's the American version, although the English variant (also known as the OG) with Ricky Gervais is definitely worth watching. But now I'm going to talk about the hero of Dunder Mifflin, self-proclaimed World's Best Boss, the one and only Michael Scott. Few series have such funny, relatable, and incredibly awkward quotes. I think everyone has a bit of Michael Scott in them. You might think that Phil Dunphy has the strongest lines, but no. And as you might know, we do love the funniest quotes and so these absolutely cannot be left out. With a few wise sayings added too.

1. “I am Beyoncé. Always.” Words to live by. The context is not important at all. Do you get up in the morning? Trigger your inner Beyoncé. Do you feel like a wallflower? No no, that's not going to happen. Be Beyoncé. Always. Who knows, I might tattoo this motivational quote one day.

2. “Sometimes I’ll start a sentence, and I don’t even know where it’s going. I just hope I find it along the way.” Relatable. Especially in awkward situations. Wanting to tell a story just to fill the silence. Stories without a clue. Rambling aimlessly. We all do it.

3. “I knew exactly what to do. But in a much more real sense, I had no idea what to do.” Again relatable. In the category of not letting on: fake it till you make it. Do you want to pick a wine from this gigantic wine list? Sure, suddenly you're a connoisseur. Little do they know that you often can't really taste the difference between a Chardonnay and a Pinot Grigio.

4. “Would I rather be feared or loved? Easy. Both. I want people to be afraid how much they love me.” Just a deep quote in between. Yes, this one can easily be placed on a tile.

5. “I love inside jokes. I’d love to be a part of it one day.” Ouch. If you're a bit of a loyal viewer of The Office, you know that there really isn't any inside joke that he ultimately is a part of. Let's not wish that for ourselves, but I think we've all heard an inside joke where we had no idea what was going on. And just laughed. Ha ha. Really super funny.

6. “I’m not superstitious, but, I’m a little stitious.” Now this isn't a very difficult word, but how many times have you seen a word come by that you think: yes, exactly... This could really mean anything. But again: fake it till you make it. So just join in the conversation. And if you feel like you can add something, just improvise.

7. “I wouldn’t miss it for the world, but if something else came up, I would definitely not go.” I often use the variant: “I would like to, but I really don't feel like it.” Well, sometimes you just don't want to, but that can be a bit rude. So you let people think that you really, honestly, have the intention to come. But you know best that you're really not going.

8. “I hate so much about the things you choose to be.” My favorite insult. If someone really makes you angry: this one works. It hurts. Save it for the people who really deserve it, by the way. Not recommended to throw this around.

9. “I am an early bird and a night owl. So I’m wise and I have worms.” Can also be placed straight on a tile, you know. Attempt at a profound view on life, but just a bit different.
