The Sanna Marin Files: this is what you want, no, MUST know

YES Finland, doing great. A study from 2018 already showed that the Finns were the happiest people in the world. They have to spot the northern lights.. FInland-Lapland. They have 54 days of paternity leave. Should we keep going? Last one then: they have Sanna Marin, also known as the youngest prime minister ever, at 34 years old. Her 34 years, yes, because Sanna Marin is a woman. She is part of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and had already been the Minister of Transport and Communications since June, and is now elected as prime minister. A case of #girlboss for sure.
The Netherlands is still a bit behind in this regard, as we have never had a female prime minister. Finland does a bit better in this respect: Sanna Marin will be the third female prime minister the country has known. She will lead a coalition consisting of five parties. Fun facts: each of these five parties is led by a woman, four out of five are even younger than 35 years old.
Hopefully, Marin will do a bit better than her predecessor, Antti Rinne. He was only prime minister for half a year in Helsinki when he was already politely but urgently asked to step down. Trust in him was revoked due to his response to the postal strike, which happened a few weeks ago. Marin will therefore immediately face a significant strike when she starts; it is still ongoing. And it seems clear that she will be presented with that soon, it's just waiting for her formal approval. Since she has a large majority behind her, that seems more like a formality... And then she can get started. Who run the world? In Finland, that is clearly: girls.
