What’s up with the haul and the hub

Sometimes you hear terms that you didn't know existed or what they even mean. And yes, something is going on again on Instagram. Now I know that if you're very international, you understand these kinds of things, but the last time I checked, we were still doing everything in Dutch. That's why I got a big error with the haul and the hub.
On Instagram, everyone is suddenly hauling. I don't know if we've reached the point where these kinds of things can be conjugated, but I'm just going to assume so. Just like the hub. Brands and people are suddenly organizing hauls and hubbing, yes. And I get all sorts of questions about it. Because what do you do at a haul and who exactly is hubbing? Can only a brand hub? Is a haul only allowed per person? Or maybe the other way around? What am I missing? Is it a society? Or maybe a secret language of an underground Insta-culture? That called for a solid investigation. And off I went, onto the worldwide web. Of course, it gave me answers.
Haul: actually just means showing your purchases. Ooooooh, just say that then.
Hub: according to the wiki definition, it is, like a hub, a device in the infrastructure of a network, but I think we should just go for the Cambridge definition. Hub: the central or main part of something where there is most activity. Where it happens, we can then give as an explanation.
Well, that’s a relief. Can we now all just start hubbing and hauling this weekend.
