I don't know about you, but I still miss the times of dancing bananas. Why doesn't Hyves come back?

We all know Facebook by now and okay, Instagram remains addictive, but Hyves can definitely coexist. Now there’s a trick that allows you to dig up your old Hyves profile. You have to be brave, because eh… It’s quite a trip down memory lane 2.0, so to speak.

Ready for that leap back into your past full of scribbles and profile pictures with breezers? Use the Wayback Machine: there are 9 million profiles stored there. You just need to know your old username (something like kissesfromtessie89, ooooh the shame), add .hyves.nl to it and hop, you’ll see your old timeline. It’s actually quite nice to see everything again. But also somewhat awkward. Very awkward. That folder with party photos: How. Do. You. Come. Up. With. It. It’s a good thing we are older and wiser now. And long live Instagram.
