Yes yes yes: the first images of Sex Education season 2

The series from last year that I binge-watched in one sitting. Okay, that's happened with more series, of course, but this was definitely one of them. I found it so enjoyable. And refreshingly nice, sometimes good trashy and coarse (I love that) and the main characters are not over-the-top Hollywood stereotypes but just relatable. Well, I don't think I was the only one in this, by the way, because Sex Education was just a huge hit.

A hit that isn't heavily promoted (like they do with YOU) for example), but that you catch through word of mouth. And honestly: those are often the best. I think Netflix itself didn't quite expect Sex Education to be such a hit either, because I assume they would have put a bit more effort into it otherwise… Goodness, that second season is taking forever, I must say.

BUT. Dear people, finally today the first images have been released. Ho ho, I deliberately say no trailer, because that's not the case. No, we unfortunately have to make do with the first photos. But I see this as a sign that the wait is almost over. What do we already know about season 2? Otis is together with Ola and has to go on a sexual discovery journey, but as we know, Maeve also has a crush on Otis and that tension is palpable. Meanwhile, there is a real chlamydia outbreak going on at the school and that needs to be addressed.

Otis's BFF Eric is more flamboyant than ever and on the hunt for men. He hooked up with Adam in season 1 and has been in love since then. Adam, that is, but he is currently at military academy where he is struggling with his feelings. You hear it: plenty of issues in season 2 and drama. CAN'T WAIT. The release date is according to the internet early 2020, so I give them about three more months. And then I'm going to complain.
