About Johnny,

So. Just when we were recovering from the whole Fred affair, something new is knocking at the door. The ‘extortion’ by Johnny de Mol. Side note; I had never heard of the word extortion before, but it means blackmail without violence, which is what extortion is.
Long story short: Johnny had an ex, Shima Kaes, who years later still wanted some zeros with a nice number in front and comes up with incriminating material. She doesn't mention how that incriminating material was obtained.
You sense disapproval from me and I want to explain that to you. Because of course I believe that men with loose hands or bad intentions should be held accountable in general. But she went to Johnny's loved ones, laid the incriminating material on a silver platter and said that if they give her a financial compensation, she will bury the matter. And that, that bothers me. Because for survivors of violence, it's not about money, but about getting justice, to prevent the perpetrator from making more victims. It's about recognition for them.
Of course I wish everyone the good and the pure and I regret it if Shima has been left with a bad taste from her relationship with Johnny. And I understand wanting to get your justice five years later. There is no expiration date on grief, you have to be ready to show your scars. But this way. Shima, if you are really that classy, I would say: you can do better.
And that money doesn't make you happy, evidence piece 834 has once again been provided.
