Coffee gossip: The Smartest Person is back and Pink was infected with corona

The sun is shining, the coffee is ready, and it's time to catch up on entertainment matters. From light (oh yes, The Smartest Person) to serious (Pink had corona).

The Smartest Person returns
The program will not return to Dutch television, as there are currently no new recordings being made, but it is available online. And the nice thing is: you can participate. Pink and her son recovered from corona 
Pink's three-year-old son Jameson was the first to get infected. Around mid-March, he developed a fever that kept rising. A few days later, Pink woke up in the middle of the night feeling like she couldn't breathe. Without a nebulizer to inhale medication, the singer could hardly get any air. At one point, the symptoms were so severe that she was afraid she would have to go to the hospital. Fortunately, the two have fully recovered, and a new test showed that they were free of corona. Pink donated a total of one million dollars to hospitals to help in the fight against COVID-19.

Own House & Garden stops 
RTL, what are you doing now? My anchor on Sunday mornings at half past nine (because I watch the replay) is leaving the screen. Own House & Garden with Thomas, farmer Tom, and Evelyn will continue until June 6, and then Peter van der Vorst will take it off the air. His explanation? It's an expensive program to make, and EditieNL deserves a spot on the weekend. I'm looking for a new way to spend my Sunday morning; suggestions are welcome.

Madonna shares another video 
In her first message, Madonna was still in a bath with rose petals, but she has since exchanged that setting for a desk and typewriter. Seems more fitting. In her diary, she shares that she lost three acquaintances to corona in twenty-four hours. “In the last twenty-four hours my cousin has died,” she reports.
