Hell yes: red wine and chocolate is rejuvenating

Forget botox, fillers, everything — just eat chocolate and drink red wine and you're set. So simple — and above all: so delicious — life can be. Well, it is of course all a bit more nuanced, but it is really true. scientifically proven. Rum and chocolate makes you look younger. Or better said: brings your body into a rejuvenation process.

And that is due to the substance resveratrol, which I had never heard of until today but it is now my favorite substance. It has been proven that with a chemical substance similar to resveratrol, human cells renew and rejuvenate themselves, so bring it on. And instead of getting those chemical things in, or putting them in creams, you can just take it in. Without chemicals. It's probably a lot healthier too, right?

And that resveratrol is abundant in red wine and chocolate. And how good are those for your skin cells? Well, doctors are completely amazed. ‘When I saw some of the cells in the culture dish rejuvenating I couldn’t believe it,’ says Dr. Latorre. ‘These old cells were looking like young cells. It was like magic.’ MAGIC. Exactly what we need for those eternal young looks.

Now I take red wine and chocolate as an example because — it seems obvious to me — they are the two products with this substance from which it is just very good news if you can eat and drink more of it. But if you happen to be alcohol-free and for some inexplicable reason don't like chocolate: don't worry. It is also found in peanuts, grapes (not surprising given the red wine) and various types of berries.

Before you now sprint to the supermarket to stock up on eighty Milka and Kinder Bueno bars: that doesn't work very productively. Resveratrol is mainly found in pure chocolate. The purer, the younger that skin. But I definitely start with a glass of red wine. Great goal to spend my money on instead of all those expensive creams… CHEERS.
