I am already looking forward to this new series with Omar Sy

The first time I saw Omar Sy in action was of course in Intouchables. A simply brilliant film that, now that we're talking about it, could definitely be on repeat this December. But Omar Sy has done more that is worth seeing and there is a new series on its way to Netflix.

To go through his repertoire for a moment, I also found him phenomenal in: Samba, Il viaggio di Yao, and Demain Tout Commence. The man is capable of pulling you into a movie and not letting you go until the story is finished, after which you want to see the films again. He even managed to do this in the fairly short trailer of Lupin, which makes me almost unable to wait until January 8. The series is about Assane Diop, a son who wants to avenge his father. He does this 25 years after his death and his inspiration is the book Arsène Lupin, Gentleman Burglar. I already find this an intriguing start in itself. But then you have Paris as the backdrop, Omar Sy in the lead role, and you get a series that you will probably binge in a few evenings. One to watch, I already know for sure.
