When Ron Wemel suddenly becomes a father...

It has been nine years since the steam train to Hogwarts stopped running. Harry defeated Voldemort (oh yes, spoiler if you've never seen it) and that was what we had to deal with. No more magical Harry, no all-knowing Hermione, no mean Draco Malfoy, and the Weasley family a.k.a. the good guys from the Burrow also had to retire. And then suddenly comes the day that Ron Weasley is. Huh?
To now go on like an old hag proclaiming where the time goes, even though I would like to, is a bit much. But the little red-haired boy with his love for everything on the candy cart in the train father? Honestly, that's quite a switch. What turns out to be the case, you know, when you do some research into the characters from Harry Potter. Ron, who in real life is named Rupert Grint, was born in 1988, making him 31 years old right now. That's a pretty average age to become a father or mother, I know from a completely random survey in my circle of friends. But Harry, Ron, and Hermione will probably always remain minors in my mind because I watch all the parts every year.
Rupert (to me, he will always be Ron no matter what movie he plays) is in a relationship with English actress Georgia Groome. Funny enough, they just announced last month that they are expecting a child. It is not known what the little girl is named, and Rupert and Georgia ask everyone to respect their privacy during this special time. We will.
By the way, Hermione and Harry do not have any children yet, in case you were curious about that.
And even more good news today:
- La La Land will be on Videoland next month, how delightful.
- You can binge season two of Dead to Me on Netflix starting today, hooray.
- And the now 78-year-old Bob Dylan (!) will soon release an album, wow.
