Noooo, Monica is stopping (temporarily) with vlogging

The most famous vlogger from our little country is taking a well-deserved break. For four years, Monica could be found on YouTube, even daily at first. How then? You just have to have the desire and time for it. Filming everything every day, editing everything, and uploading online. Earlier, she already announced that those daily vlogs indeed became a bit too much of a good thing and she went back to weekly uploads. Completely understandable, of course.

But with a reality series on Videoland added, it all becomes a bit too much, and so Mo is taking a step back. She shares this in her latest video from today: next week there will be no weekly vlog. Just a well-deserved week of rest. Now, a week without a vlog is of course no disaster, and luckily it's just a temporary break.

I really thought Monica Geuze was amazing, and she is actually the only vlogger whose videos I genuinely watch (so I will miss her next week), but in the video below, she mentions that she also receives a lot of negative comments. That she has changed (come on, is it strange that someone changes over a span of four years?) that she would be ungrateful, and so on. Pfff, you just have to deal with it.

A great comfort, by the way, is that there is a new episode of Like Monica on Videoland on Wednesday. That was of course put on hold due to corona, but is now being picked up again. Earlier, she indicated that she might want to stop with that reality series because it was all quite intense. I understand, but I really enjoy watching it again. And hopefully, we will finally get to see her lover properly on screen (or did that relationship not survive the corona crisis?). A bit of a spoiler alert, because Mo has already revealed how the reality series ends.

We saw in the last episode that she had to cancel her birthday plans due to the coronavirus, but she made up for it. And HOW. That girl knows how to throw a party, that's for sure. And that birthday bash is also exactly how Like Monica ends. With a bang.
