OMG: is there a MAFS all star edition coming?
Oooh, if this rumor is true, then I will really jump for joy. That Married At First Sight Australia the gift that keeps on giving is, I really don't need to tell you that anymore, right? I think we all collectively spent a work week (including overtime) binge-watching season 6 and yes, I'm already completely up to date with season 7. But to be honest: I do miss the couples from season 6 quite a bit. You invest quite a bit of time in their marriages and then suddenly it's over. I miss Mike and Heidi (they miss each other a bit less unfortunately). I even miss the drama that Jess causes and I especially miss Cyclone Cyrell.
Now for the very best news, if it's true: the season in 2021 (or season 9) will be an ALL STAR SEASON. Yes, that means we will definitely see people from the sixth season again. Because everyone in season 6 is just an All Star. Yes, even Matthew. And as cute as I found Cam and Jules, happy couples are a bit the dullest to watch so it's completely fine for everyone that they are still together: they are definitely not participating.
Website Punkee dove into this persistent rumor, because they are of course just as excited as I am. And they found out that the candidates of MAFS 2021 will be paired with... Celebrities. But then the next question: are the All Stars paired with celebrities or are they the celebrities? I actually guess the latter.
That brings me to the next point. This is quite obvious, for me at least: I am going to sign up and demand to be paired with Mike. Because this season means that we, plebs, have a chance to be paired with people from previous seasons. Is season 7 now your favorite, you are in luck: Mikey seems to have already said he will participate.
Seriously, I think this is the best news in a long time. I'm completely done with corona and that light lockdown we are in again, but I wouldn't mind it coming back when this is aired. Unless I participate myself. I will keep you updated on when you can sign up, but Mike is mine. Just so you know.
