Oprah Winfrey is coming out with a new talk show

Everything Oprah does, makes or says I find interesting, and when she comes out with a new talk show, I am of course already a fan, even though no episodes have been aired yet. That won't take long, though: tomorrow, July 30, the very first one will be available. Well, on a channel that I don't have a subscription to (and there are really only a few left that I can say that about), so here we go again… Apple TV+, you have a new member.

Oprah's new series will be called The Oprah Conversation, and the first episodes will be about racism. The title of the very first is already known: How to be an Antiracist. That title refers to her guest Abram X. Kendi, who wrote the book of the same name . And completely nice: this first episode will be available for free on Apple TV+'s streaming service. And yes, after that we will have to pay, but at least we can already have a judgment on whether the show is worth it or not, right?

Activist Emmanuel Acho and Bryan Stevenson (founder of Equal Justice) will be guests in later episodes to discuss racism. In any case, we can expect more things from Oprah on Apple TV+, because in 2018 she signed a contract with them. I really hope that The Oprah Winfrey Show comes back. That will probably never happen, but never say never.

So starting tomorrow, the first episode of The Oprah Conversation will be available and completely free as well.
