Self-tanner without streaks: here's how to do it

Missing your brown tan in winter is unnecessary. Your color might not come naturally from the sun (and we definitely don’t use a tanning bed), but the self-tanners of today are so good that it looks like you’ve spent a week in Bali. Are you afraid of spots that shouldn’t be there? I understand, but that’s unnecessary. A good preparation and taking the time for it is a must.
What you need to do a day in advance:
1. Scrubbing: this removes all dead skin cells
2. Shaving: for the smoothest result
3. Applying lotion to your body: a well-cared-for skin is important
On the day you start using your self-tanner, the above steps are not a good idea. It is important that your skin is clean, so first step into the shower and dry yourself well. My tip is to use the self-tanner in the evening. Wait ten minutes after applying before putting on anything at all. A loose pajama to prevent stains works best for me. The average development time is six to eight hours, which is exactly that night’s sleep. Do pay attention: if you have a self-tanner that you need to rinse off within one hour, make sure to stick to that.
What do we all need for the best result? A self-tanner in the right color for your body and face, a glove, a clean makeup brush and your day cream. Let’s do this!
