The woman of 200 million
Two hundred million followers, I find it almost too much to wrap my head around, it might also be because I have 954 myself (and I love you all equally). But Ariana Grande breaks the female record on Instagram thanks to her followers and can now call herself the woman of 200 million.
Ariana Grande shares the top three most followed women with Kylie Jenner and Selena Gomez, but they have not yet reached that magical threshold. Even though they both have a not too shabby 193 and 190 million to their names. The most followed human being on the social platform is still Cristiano Ronaldo, which I don't quite understand, even though he can probably play football very well. But hey, again, what do I know? Other highly followed men are Dwayne Johnson and Lionel Messi. I suspect that soon more will break through the 200 million barrier, as there are enough panting in Ariana's neck.
Instagram itself is also doing quite well on its own stage with 363 million followers, making it the most followed account.
