Today is red
Very red, but really red. It was a bit brown at first, then extremely blonde, that time seems to be over. Kim Kardashian dyed her locks (or had them dyed) and voilà, red it is.
Now she naturally wants to know what the world thinks of it, so Kim's hair guru posted the red cut on Instagram with the question of what we think. With a disclaimer from hairdresser Chris, because we shouldn't think that this is a wig. I mainly get a Jessica Rabbit vibe from Kim's new hairstyle, what about you?
Chris Appleton is responsible for Kim's locks and explains how it all came about: ‘Getting Kim to this vibrant cherry red took some time, about two hours. We wanted to keep the scalp and hair growth healthy so instead of lightening from the roots, we left about an inch of her normal shade and lightened from there to the ends. After lightening we just went over the hair with the vibrant red.’
For when you're in the mood for something different, red is apparently the color of twenty-twenty. Copying Kim is therefore allowed.
