Wire steel imitating First Dates is the funniest thing you will see today
Draadstaal is BACK. And how. I have always found Jeroen van Koningsbrugge and Dennis van de Ven hilarious, and their characters Fred and Ria are the favorites from nine seasons of Draadstaal. Last night the very latest episode aired on TV and it was about time, I must say. And yes, it was really a treat. First Dates à la Draadstaal: I’m a fan. And Fred and Ria are back in action. Love it.
25 minutes long and you really want to watch the episode. Especially the First Dates segments, so funny. And so recognizable, those types that appear on the show. By the way, it’s nice that it was actually filmed in the First Dates restaurant, so maître Sergio is there. Only the most handsome bartender Victor has been replaced by a slightly less attractive specimen. That’s a shame.
But really, those characters. Gerard and Hermien on a date, Eastern European Svetlana (‘I am prostitute’), a gay couple in tank tops and mustaches. They are all a joy, but especially the terrible Hague Sjonnie I find amazing. So voilà, here’s the funniest thing you’re going to see today. Guaranteed success.
