No idea what exactly possessed my parents (I've been trying to figure that out for 32 years now) to name their child Wieke. And then with the last name Veenboer: you won't find a more rural name, I assure you. Now, the Veenboeren do descend from pirates, so I could have appreciated a cool pirate surname. But then that miserable first name… Honestly, if only my parents had gone through a list like the one below. Because to be honest: I really like the trends for the upcoming year.
